GOOD QUESTIONS
Get to know your report.
A few practical answers before you place an order.
What information should I prepare before selling my vehicle?
Gather the vehicle identifier, current mileage, registration or ownership documents, maintenance receipts and repair paperwork you have. Available vehicle records can help you identify additional details to check; they do not replace original documents.
Why do buyers ask for vehicle records?
Buyers may use recorded specifications, title entries, mileage or damage information to guide their questions and inspection. Clear information helps them understand what is known and what still needs verification.
When should I check my vehicle information?
Review it before arranging a viewing or starting detailed negotiations, leaving time to clarify unfamiliar entries. Preparation begins after confirmed payment; contact support about timing if you already have a meeting planned.
Can I review the information before meeting a buyer?
Yes, once your PDF is ready you can access it through the private link sent to your checkout email. Download and review the available entries beforehand, and keep the order-access link private.
How can vehicle information improve transparency?
It gives you and the buyer specific details to discuss alongside your own documents. Be clear about missing or uncertain entries. Records do not certify current ownership, mechanical condition or a complete vehicle background.
How long does it take to access the available information?
After payment, we review your VIN and prepare the available records. We will email you when your report is ready. Delivery is not instant. Ask support for a timing estimate before ordering if needed.
Can I check more than one vehicle?
Yes. A package with multiple credits lets you submit another VIN from the private access page linked in your order email after payment. Each different VIN uses one credit, with a separate status and PDF. Check the current Packages page for credit quantities.
Does preparing vehicle details guarantee a sale?
No. Organized information can support a clearer conversation, but it cannot guarantee a selling price, buyer approval or a completed sale. Buyers should still inspect the vehicle and verify important documents.
What is a VIN, and where do I find it?
A vehicle identification number identifies an individual vehicle. This form does not require a fixed identifier length. Look near the windshield on the driver’s side, on the door label or on registration documents. VINs do not use I, O or Q.
What information may appear in my report?
Depending on the package and available sources, you may see specifications, ownership or title entries, mileage, reported damage, salvage, sales, recalls or service activity. Some categories may have no records. A missing entry is not proof that an event did not occur.
How long does preparation take?
After payment, we review your VIN and prepare the available records. We will email you when your report is ready. We do not promise instant delivery. Contact support if you need a timing estimate before ordering.
How will I receive and keep my report?
We send a private access link to your checkout email. You can check status and download the PDF using the private link in your order email. Links expire after 7 days and can be renewed by requesting another email. Reports are retained for 365 days from purchase; save a copy for longer-term reference.
Can I run reports for more than one vehicle?
Yes. A package with multiple credits lets you submit another VIN from the private access page linked in your order email after payment. Each different VIN uses one credit. Submitting the same VIN again on that order does not use another credit.
What if I entered the wrong VIN?
Use Edit vehicle or details before choosing your package. After checkout, contact support promptly with your order number. Submitted VINs are locked so an existing report cannot accidentally be relabeled for another vehicle.
Which payment methods are supported?
The available methods appear at checkout. Payment must be confirmed before preparation begins. If checkout has no available payment method, contact support; an unpaid order does not unlock a report.
Can I cancel or request a refund?
Contact support with your order number as soon as possible. Requests depend on the preparation status and the circumstances described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Approved refunds suspend report access and unused credits for that order.
Do I need an account?
You can use the private email access link for a guest order. If you checked out with an account, your order remains linked to that account. Keep access links private, since anyone with a valid link can view that order.
Does a report replace a vehicle inspection?
No. Use the report to guide questions and checks. Have a qualified independent professional inspect the vehicle and verify the seller’s documents.
How do I get help with an existing order?
Use the Contact page and include your order number. You may also include the VIN so support can find the correct request. Never send payment-card details.
BE PREPARED. KEEP IT TRANSPARENT.
